If you're planning a wedding at Granite Links in Quincy, Massachusetts, and searching for a florist who understands how to complement the venue's breathtaking views, Nicole and Cody's wedding is the perfect inspiration. Their day was the definition of timeless elegance - with a classic black-and-white color palette and lush, romantic florals in shades of white, ivory, blush, and soft yellow.
A Dream wedding Venue: Granite Links in Quincy, MA
Granite Links is one of the most sought-after wedding venues in the Boston area, known for its panoramic skyline views, lush golf course surroundings and versatile ceremony and reception spaces. Nicole and Cody exchanged vows outdoors, withthe Boston syline creating a picture perfect backdrop. Their reception was held in the venue's beautiful Pavilion Tent, offering an airy, open setting that let the florals and sceneic views shine.
Wedding Floral Design That Matches the Setting
As their wedding florist, we aimed to create a floral design that felt elegant, romantic, and timeless, while enhancing - not overpowering - the natural beauty of Granite Links. Their floral palette included:
- Garden roses, cosmos, dahlias, yarrow, and sprigs of ruscus
- A soft color palette of white, ivory, blush, and cream with touches of pale yellow
- Whimsical and airy arrangements with plenty of movement and texture
Nicole carried a classic white bouquet with gentle blush undertones, paired with petite bridesmaid bouquets in matching tones. Cody and his groomsmen wore ivory spray rose boutonnieres, accented with a touch of greenery for texture.
Ceremony and Reception Flowers
For their ceremony on the lawn, we designed a minimalist aisle lined with white roses and greenery, leading to two statement garden-style flral arrangements that framed the vows, adding beautiful florals to enhance the stunning view. The aisle was lined with single roses creating a dreamy aisle that had a timeless romantic feel while still feeling fresh and modern.
Inside the Pavilion Ten, we kept things elegant and refined:
- Low centerpiece arrangements and romantic candlelight filled the tables
- The sweetheart table featured lush florals with the Bostno skyline as the backdrop
Every design choice was intentional - highlighting the natural surroundings while creating a soft, romantic atmosphere for the couple and their guests.
